Richard Flowers

A 25+ year veteran in the luxury event production and management business, Richard has assembled the ultimate collaborative team of industry professionals. While based in Houston, where Richard is the go-to guy for total event planning, he continues to gain acclaim for his exceptional national work as well. Richard is always engaged to ensure that every detail is in place and takes particular pride in the fact that many of his clients become great friends.

Edith Dugas

Edith has worked on the planning and execution of conventions, conferences, galas, weddings, dinners, and corporate meetings in New York City, Washington, D.C., and in locations throughout the state of Texas. She is a seasoned industry professional with 40 years of overall experience and 25 years in the non-profit sector serving as Director of Advancement and Director of Development for a number of Houston area charities.

Miriam Wagner

Miriam is a 30-year industry professional recognized for her keen eye and attention to detail. She exudes a welcoming demeanor and calls on her Southern hospitality for the production and management of our clients’ events. Logistics planning and permitting, catering, and selection of fabric and fine linens are some of her areas of expertise.

Daisy Sloan White

With 40 years of experience in volunteer and professional fundraising, development, communications and event planning, Daisy is recognized for her natural leadership, organizational, management, and exceptional communications skills. She has been an appointee to the Governor’s Commission for Women, the Texas Historical Commission, and has served as project manager for several multi-day productions including the presidential inauguration, the Super Bowl, and Major League Baseball events. Daisy’s goal is to exceed every client’s expectations and deliver exceptional service every time.

Katie Mullins

Born and raised in Houston, Katie has worked with The Events Company as an event production specialist for 9 years. She attended Kinkaid, Episcopal High School, and Texas Christian University, where she was a member of and planned events for the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Katie is full of charisma and prides herself on her ability to make people laugh under the most stressful situations. She loves seeing the groom’s face when the bride walks down the aisle, and after months of careful planning, watching The Events Company crew transform a venue from the client’s vision into a reality.

Lee Capetillo, Jr.

Armed with a 15-year background in interior and floral design, tradeshows, and event and stage production, Lee has the comprehensive balance of experience to ensure seamless end-to-end production of every event. He has worked on notable projects with design firms and production teams in Los Angeles and Houston. Lee’s favorite aspect of working on events is the honor of earning the clients trust with the most important moments in their lives.

David Sosa

David plays a principal role in managing all aspects of the event production process. He has been with the company for almost 20 years, and leads a team in the complex technical execution of events. David’s expertise in implementing the overall creative and logistical elements assures that every event is a success. Working alongside the event managers and the creative team, David helps run the events from concept, to implementation, through to live show and load out.

Aubrey Sellers

Leading our floral team, Aubrey has over 42 years of experience in the floral design industry, with 25 years of operating his own company. His uniquely unforgettable designs have been featured in national and international publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and Houston Home and Garden. Along with custom floral design, Aubrey specializes in sourcing rare and unusual flowers from around the globe.

Shari Klingler

A skilled logistics manager, Shari attended the University of Texas and has 28 years of experience in procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution, and transportation. She manages the day-to-day business operations of The Event Company’s warehouse and ensures the efficient storage and delivery of our inventory for event production purposes. Shari specializes in scheduling, organizing pull lists, expediting deliveries and the striking of events.
